Jeff Savage
CEO, President, and Chairman of the Board
In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Savage is focused on leading the Inspire Trust team towards consistently creating exceptional client experiences. Drawing on his more than 35 years’ experience in all aspects of the fiduciary business, Jeff guides Inspire to the highest quality national bank standards. Jeff understands the business aspects of creating a nationally chartered company specifically for this group of clients.
Prior to becoming the CEO of Inspire Trust Company, Jeff led the Specialized Wealth Services business as a National Managing Director for Wells Fargo. Specialized Wealth Services consisted of nine client offerings including Special Needs Trust Services which supported families and individuals living with special needs. Specialized Wealth Services had $42 billion in assets under management and more than 400 professional advisors serving clients. Each of these businesses required deep subject matter expertise, being at the forefront of risk management, knowledge and understanding of changes in regulations and laws, the ability to work closely with clients, and to lead, coach, and recruit employees. Jeff worked extensively with Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Diversity, Recruiting, and Marketing to lead and grow the business. Over the course of his career, Jeff also held many other roles in Fiduciary and Investment Management at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., including Senior Director and Regional Chief Investment Officer. In these roles, he led Trust Advisors and Investment Managers in client facing and strategic roles.
Jeff’s BA and MBA degrees come from the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota where he was born and raised. Jeff has also been an active speaker and author for national periodicals on a variety of topics including markets, economies, and investment strategies.
After moves around the country, Jeff and his wife Denise now live in the Atlanta, GA area. When not engaged with the team at Inspire, Jeff enjoys his roles on the boards of philanthropic organizations.
